Responsibilities
- Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently process guest arrivals and departures using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests with a warm welcome and assist with inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and services.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
- Payments: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and secure proper authorization for charges.
- Operations Support: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or issues with empathy and resolve them to the guest's satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; we train our own.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Technical: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Schedule: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Language: Proficiency in English, bilingual candidates are a plus.
