Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service during check-in/check-out processes
- Manage reservations and optimize room inventory for maximum occupancy
- Resolve guest inquiries and issues promptly with solution-oriented approach
- Coordinate with housekeeping, valet, and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Utilize hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio) efficiently
- Upsell premium services and amenities to enhance guest experience
- Train and mentor new front desk staff on service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years luxury hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera/Fidelio preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends/holidays
- Valid Texas Food Handler certification
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Customer service certification (CHIA or AHLEI preferred)
- Fluent English; bilingual Spanish highly valued
