Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently using our property management system (PMS).
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, answering inquiries about hotel amenities, local attractions, and room availability.
- Handle guest complaints and requests with empathy and efficiency to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and check transactions accurately.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet our quality standards.
- Perform light administrative duties such as filing, restocking supplies, and managing mail.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or business is a plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
