Responsibilities
- Seamlessly check in/out guests while managing reservations and room assignments
- Resolve guest inquiries with empathy and efficiency, including billing and amenity requests
- Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for optimal guest satisfaction
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records using hotel management systems
- Act as local tourism ambassador, recommending dining, attractions, and transportation
- Uphold brand standards through meticulous attention to detail in all guest interactions
- Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel/hospitality experience or equivalent customer service role
- Proficiency with Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments during peak seasons
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Columbus tourism landscape preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus
