Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs efficiently using Opera PMS system
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with empathy
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Upsell hotel amenities and packages to enhance revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with concierge team for local recommendations
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
