Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue, occupancy rates, and average daily rate (ADR).
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and employee retention.
- Manage the hotel's budget, financial reporting, and P&L statement to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and resolve complex guest issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and mentor management staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, preferably in a luxury or upscale property.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) and MS Office Suite.
