In this role, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the hotel, ensuring that we deliver an unforgettable experience for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Guest Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and resolve complex issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and schedule staff to foster a positive, high-performance work environment.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability and revenue.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to drive occupancy rates, manage corporate contracts, and enhance the hotel's reputation in the DC market.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams and driving performance metrics.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and industry-standard software.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Washington, DC and be available for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
