As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the property, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction, efficient staff management, and profitable business performance.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
- Guest Experience: Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to exceed expectations and resolve complaints effectively.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor hotel staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecast revenue, control expenses, and ensure profitability through effective cost-control measures.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to drive occupancy rates and maximize revenue through promotions and partnerships.
- Compliance: Ensure the hotel adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in property management systems (PMS).
- Problem Solving: Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and handle crisis management effectively.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
