Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest check-in/check-out experiences using Opera PMS system
- Manage multi-line phone communications with precision and courtesy
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance requests for guest rooms
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate billing records
- Act as local Memphis expert providing recommendations for attractions, dining, and events
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Maintain meticulous lobby ambiance and reception area cleanliness
- Collaborate with concierge and valet teams for seamless guest services
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel reception or front desk experience required
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, OPERA Cloud preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with clear articulation in English
- Strong problem-solving abilities with customer-first mindset
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment during peak hours
- Basic knowledge of Memphis tourism and local geography
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
