Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/checkouts using PMS systems
- Process reservations and modify bookings per guest requests
- Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with exceptional service
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Assist with concierge services and local recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Participate in daily briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency in Opera or similar PMS systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Valid California driver's license (preferred)
- Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual a plus)
- Basic knowledge of Long Beach attractions and services
- Professional appearance and customer-focused demeanor
