Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently using Opera PMS system
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism
- Process payments and manage cash drawer with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Upsell hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experience
- Maintain detailed reservation records and update availability in real-time
- Assist with event coordination and group bookings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency in Opera PMS or similar reservation systems
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
