Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service through check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments, and concierge assistance
- Manage multi-line phone system, reservations, and guest inquiries with professionalism
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure seamless operations
- Utilize hotel management software (Opera) for daily tasks and reporting
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and escalate complex issues to management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years of hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Houston attractions and local transportation
