Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out procedures efficiently using PMS software
- Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and confirmations
- Resolve guest concerns promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest requests
- Perform daily audits of front desk operations and reports
- Uphold brand standards through exceptional service delivery
Qualifications
- 1+ years of hotel reception or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS systems
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of Oakland attractions and local transportation
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
