Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/out procedures using Opera PMS system
- Handle high-volume phone calls and in-person inquiries with professionalism
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B teams for guest requests
- Resolve guest complaints with empathy and proactive problem-solving
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and premium services
- Maintain pristine front desk appearance and supply inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience preferred
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Basic knowledge of Houston tourism attractions and services
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
