Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional front desk service including check-ins/check-outs using Opera PMS
- Manage multi-line phone systems and coordinate guest requests with housekeeping/management
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate billing records
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with proactive problem-solving solutions
- Coordinate VIP arrivals, room assignments, and special event logistics
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk area and lobby
- Train on safety protocols and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or high-volume customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Cloudbeds preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Basic mathematical skills for financial transactions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Wisconsin hospitality certification or willingness to obtain
