Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional front desk service including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries
- Manage multi-line phone system with professionalism and efficiency
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments for guest requests
- Utilize property management systems (PMS) to update guest information and preferences
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Execute upselling strategies for hotel amenities and services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in hospitality or luxury retail
- Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera, StayNTouch) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication skills and multilingual abilities (Spanish highly valued)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license may be required for errands
- Positive attitude with passion for creating memorable guest experiences
