Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and provide directions or information about local attractions.
- Communication: Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally, acting as the primary communication hub for the hotel.
- Reservations: Process and manage room reservations efficiently using our property management system (PMS) to maximize occupancy.
- Administrative Support: Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and maintain accurate daily financial records.
- Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries, complaints, or requests promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Front Desk Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area, including brochures and lobby aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred, but we are eager to train motivated entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly (PMS experience is a bonus).
- Interpersonal: Ability to remain calm under pressure and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards.
