Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional front desk services including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries
- Manage room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping for efficient operations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records using PMS software
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Collaborate with concierge and valet teams to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized lobby area representing our brand standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certifications preferred
- 6+ months customer service or front desk experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management systems
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Valid Michigan driver's license (required for valet coordination)
