Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, ensuring a positive first impression of the hotel.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, including handling reservations and room assignments.
- Answer incoming calls with a polite and helpful tone, managing the switchboard and taking accurate messages.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding local attractions, directions, and dining recommendations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle cash transactions and daily bank reconciliations with strict accuracy.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A professional appearance and a positive, energetic attitude.
