Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Manage the front desk phone system, answering inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
- Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and check transactions securely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Update guest information in the property management system and maintain accurate records.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure room readiness and guest needs are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a polite, professional telephone manner.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with property management software (training provided).
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
