Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments with efficiency and accuracy.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, answer inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions.
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails promptly, transferring messages and taking reservations as needed.
- Process payments and verify billing information accurately using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Address guest complaints and concerns immediately, escalating complex issues to the manager while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, lobby, and common spaces.
- Assist in coordinating housekeeping requests and maintenance tickets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift light objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
