Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Handle reservations, modifications, and special requests with precision and warmth
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and dining teams for flawless operations
- Process payments, maintain accurate financial records, and manage cash handling
- Execute upselling strategies to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Maintain pristine front desk appearance and supply inventory
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel reception or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera property management system or similar PMS
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
