Responsibilities
- Maintain pristine guest rooms and common areas according to hotel standards
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
- Report maintenance issues and security concerns promptly
- Adhere to all health/safety protocols and sustainability practices
- Deliver turndown service and special guest requests
- Train new team members on housekeeping procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Valid Illinois work authorization and clean background check
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic English proficiency for guest interaction
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Knowledge of OSHA cleaning standards preferred
