Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, suites, and public areas following established protocols
- Restock amenities, linens, and supplies to ensure guest comfort and operational readiness
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently (floor buffers, extractors)
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly to engineering team
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards for chemical handling and waste disposal
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and submit reorder requests
- Provide responsive service to guest requests during shift hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid Indiana driver's license (if transporting supplies)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
- Strong attention to detail with ability to spot cleanliness deficiencies
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
