Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure efficiency and high standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with brand standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of housekeeping staff, providing feedback and performance evaluations.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to prevent shortages and waste.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or maintenance issues promptly to ensure a seamless stay experience.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assign tasks and schedules to maximize productivity during peak and off-peak seasons.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and cleaning equipment.
