Responsibilities
- Perform accurate end-of-day financial reconciliations including processing guest payments, managing cash floats, and generating daily reports
- Check in/out guests efficiently during overnight hours with personalized service and problem resolution
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations per hotel protocols
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for overnight operational needs
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction
- Execute opening/closing procedures for front desk systems and safe operations
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, FOSSE) and Microsoft Office
- Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to financial detail
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse guest interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
