Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours including check-ins/check-outs and guest assistance
- Perform nightly audit procedures ensuring accuracy of guest accounts and financial transactions
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues promptly with exceptional problem-solving
- Monitor security systems and ensure property safety protocols are maintained
- Prepare detailed shift reports and documentation for day management team
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for overnight operations
- Balance daily cash transactions and reconcile payment systems
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or night auditor experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with financial accuracy skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
