Responsibilities
- Process guest check-ins, check-outs, and room reservations with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform end-of-day financial settlements, including balancing the hotel's daily financial reports, credit card summaries, and cash drawers.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure a 5-star experience and resolve issues before the morning shift.
- Maintain strict adherence to security protocols, emergency procedures, and key control policies during the overnight hours.
- Utilize Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros to update guest profiles, manage room status, and process transactions.
- Prepare and submit nightly reports to the Front Office Manager and General Manager.
- Assist with administrative tasks, mail distribution, and maintaining the lobby and public area cleanliness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or finance background is a strong plus.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk, night audit, or guest services role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Hotel PMS software (experience with Opera Cloud or similar systems is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be detail-oriented with a high level of integrity, discretion, and problem-solving abilities.
