Responsibilities
- Conduct Night Audits: Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation, including posting charges, balancing credit cards, and closing the day’s accounts accurately.
- Front Desk Operations: Check guests in and out efficiently, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly.
- Guest Relations: Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for late arrivals; assist with concierge services and local recommendations.
- Security & Safety: Monitor security cameras, patrol the premises, and ensure all fire safety protocols and lock-up procedures are followed.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency services and maintenance staff during the night shift.
- Administrative Tasks: Update guest history profiles and maintain the PMS (Property Management System) with current information.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or a relevant hospitality management degree.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle financial data accurately.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
