Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive night audit procedures, including balancing accounts, reconciling daily financial reports, and posting charges.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and coordinating wake-up calls for guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Monitor hotel security and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff throughout the night.
- Process payments, verify credit card transactions, and maintain accurate cash and credit control logs.
- Assist with light administrative duties, including email correspondence and filing, as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; hospitality or business degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or night audit roles.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, StayNTouch, or Micros.
- Strong mathematical skills and exceptional attention to detail for financial accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and remain professional and alert during quiet overnight periods.
