Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Manage check-ins and check-outs for late-arriving guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Night Audit: Perform comprehensive nightly financial reconciliations, including posting charges, balancing credit cards, and preparing daily revenue reports.
- Front Desk Operations: Monitor hotel security systems, answer incoming calls, and handle guest inquiries regarding local attractions and dining.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or emergencies efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Housekeeping Liaison: Communicate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for early arrivals.
- Security Oversight: Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure guest and employee safety.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or night auditing is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and MS Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Integrity: Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
