Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out processes for overnight guests with precision and warmth
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with exceptional problem-solving
- Oversee security protocols and monitor property surveillance systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for urgent needs
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare daily reports and manage reservation systems
- Act as the primary point of contact for emergency situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, PMS)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
