Responsibilities
- Execute efficient and courteous check-ins and check-outs for guests, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Manage the hotelβs property management system (PMS) to update room status, process charges, and handle reservations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift, resolving inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Conduct nightly security rounds and lobby surveillance to ensure the safety and security of the property and guests.
- Handle financial transactions, including cash handling and credit card settlements, with strict adherence to company policies.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain the lobby and front desk area to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Prepare night audit reports and reconcile accounts at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hospitality management certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel front desk operations or a related customer service role.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Micros, StayNTouch).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a quiet environment.
- Candidate must pass a background check and drug screening.
