Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and key card issuance.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or chat promptly.
- Monitor building security systems and conduct regular rounds of common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate records in the property management system (PMS) regarding guest arrivals and departures.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with patience and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
- Process payments and manage cash drawers with strict adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with day staff to ensure a smooth handover of operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Previous experience working the night shift or in a front desk role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
