Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/checkouts with efficiency and warmth using PMS systems
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns, and coordinate with housekeeping/security teams
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate guest records
- Monitor property security systems and respond to emergency protocols
- Execute nightly audits, cash handling, and financial reconciliation tasks
- Upsell resort amenities, dining packages, and local attractions
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and handover documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Opera, Fidelio, or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail in financial transactions
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism attractions
