Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service across front desk, concierge, and valet operations
- Manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently during peak weekend hours
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Execute upselling strategies for premium services and amenities
- Participate in weekend inventory and supply management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure weekend environments
- Flexibility to work variable weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera preferred)
- Valid Michigan driver's license for valet duties
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and local area
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
