Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining accuracy in reservation systems
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Manage night audit procedures including balancing daily transactions
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency protocols
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest needs
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities and local attractions
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or customer service experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus)
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Portland area preferred
- Valid Oregon driver's license (if required for errands)
