Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments, and personalized recommendations
- Manage reservation systems, process payments, and maintain accurate guest records
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with a solutions-oriented approach
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor security protocols and respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Prepare nightly reports and maintain detailed logs of all guest interactions
- Upsell resort amenities and services to enhance guest experiences and revenue
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel front desk or customer service role
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi) preferred
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach attractions and local services
- Proficiency in English with additional languages a plus
