Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying payment and collecting necessary information.
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing accounts and preparing end-of-day reports.
- Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitor security cameras and access points to ensure the safety of guests and property.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle cash transactions and credit card processing with strict accuracy.
- Assist with special requests, such as wake-up calls and room service coordination.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel front desk operations, preferably in a night shift role.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
