Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins/check-outs, guest inquiries, and payment processing
- Monitor security protocols and respond to emergencies per hotel standards
- Handle overnight reservations and room status updates
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest requests
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation and report preparation
- Uphold brand standards through personalized guest interactions
- Maintain accurate logs for incidents, maintenance issues, and guest feedback
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel/hospitality experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in hotel management systems (Opera, FOSSE)
- Valid Oregon driver's license (for airport runs if required)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
