We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Night Shift Manager / Night Auditor to oversee our operations during the evening hours. As the Night Shift Manager, you are the face of the hotel after dark. You will ensure our guests have a seamless experience while maintaining strict financial accuracy through our night audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Nightly Audits: Perform accurate financial reconciliation of all daily transactions, including guest folios, room charges, and cash handling.
- Guest Experience Management: Greet late-arriving guests warmly, process check-ins and check-outs, and assist with luggage services.
- Security Oversight: Monitor hotel surveillance systems and patrol common areas to ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests efficiently to maintain high service standards.
- Administrative Duties: Prepare and submit nightly operational reports to the General Manager and Front Office Manager.
- Inventory Control: Conduct nightly inspections of the lobby and public areas to ensure cleanliness and proper presentation.
- Communication: Relay any urgent issues or maintenance requests to the appropriate departments during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or night audit roles.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Hospitality or Business degree preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in Opera PMS or similar Property Management Systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on detail-oriented tasks, such as data entry and financial math.
- Professionalism: A polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
