Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations efficiently during night hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and key management.
- Perform nightly audit duties, reconciling financial transactions and preparing reports for management.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ensure the security of the hotel property, including monitoring surveillance systems and access control.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and common spaces.
- Assist guests with local directions, restaurant recommendations, and transportation options.
- Process payments accurately and maintain proper documentation of all financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel reception, or customer service is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Must be available to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance are essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night shift.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and reconciliations.
