Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management software
- Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and room assignments
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and maintain accurate billing records
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve service issues
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for special requests
- Uphroom safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Assist with concierge services and local recommendations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years experience in front desk or customer service role
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Valid Florida driver's license (for occasional errands)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Jacksonville attractions and transportation
