Responsibilities
- Efficiently check in/out guests while maintaining accurate reservation records
- Handle guest inquiries with empathy and problem-solving skills
- Process payments and manage cash drawer with precision
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Utilize hotel management software (Opera) to maximize occupancy
- Execute upselling strategies for premium rooms and amenities
- Maintain a pristine front desk environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Proficiency in reservation systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Basic knowledge of Long Beach attractions and services
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Valid CA driver's license (if valet duties required)
