Responsibilities
- Efficiently check in/out guests while managing room assignments and key distribution
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism
- Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve guest requests
- Utilize hotel management software (Opera) for reservations and operations
- Uphold brand standards through attentive service and problem resolution
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams during peak periods
Qualifications
- Previous front desk or customer service experience in hospitality preferred
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Delphi) and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English; Spanish/Chinese a plus
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid NYC work permit and ability to pass background check
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification beneficial
