What You Will Do
As the first point of contact for our guests, your role is vital to our success. We are looking for a proactive team player who can handle a fast-paced environment with grace.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently process check-ins and check-outs using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to emails promptly, providing accurate information.
- Problem Solving: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a focus on resolution and satisfaction.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and handle cash deposits securely.
- Concierge Services: Provide local recommendations and assist with booking reservations for dining or transportation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk reception is preferred but not always required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a polite, professional telephone manner.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help others.
