Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera property management system
- Manage reservations and room assignments while maintaining 100% accuracy
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with prompt, personalized solutions
- Process payments and maintain secure financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio) a plus
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
- Valid Illinois work permit and right to work in the US
