Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera PMS system
- Handle guest inquiries with exceptional professionalism
- Process payments and manage cash drawer operations
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Upsell hotel amenities and services
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation details
- Resolve guest complaints with service recovery protocols
- Assist with valet parking and luggage services
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience required
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of San Jose attractions and transportation
- Valid California driver's license for valet duties
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
