Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in registration cards and payment transactions.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, answer phones, and respond to emails with a professional and welcoming tone.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Process daily financial transactions and reconcile credit card charges and room rates.
- Provide information about local attractions, dining, and transportation options to guests.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- A professional appearance and a friendly, customer-first attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
