Responsibilities
- Execute smooth and efficient check-in and check-out procedures for all guests, ensuring accuracy in registration cards and room assignments.
- Answer incoming calls and manage the front desk switchboard with professionalism and courtesy.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and balance daily reports and revenue logs.
- Maintain a pristine and welcoming appearance of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and timely service delivery.
- Assist guests with local recommendations, transportation, and concierge services to enhance their stay.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in hospitality or the hotel industry is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings to meet business demands.
- Professional appearance, grooming standards, and a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and billing.
- Flexibility to work on-call shifts when required.
